Hello my dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are doing well. This is "Dev 3D Design" and today I'm with a new video tutorial. Today in this video tutorial, I will explain to you all the complete overview of CATIA V5.

So let's start our tutorial.

Firstly we'll understand the outer of the CATIA V5. 

CATIA V5 is a 2D as well as 3D tool or software, it facilitates to make 2D and 3D drawings with easy tools and tricks.

Now come to the CATIA surface. Let's see it.

SO first is the START tab in the CATIA V5. In this panel all the tools and workspaces are present and from here you

can choose any workspace in which you want to draw or make a 3D design.

Let's explore the START button. Generally, in START we use only Mechanical design, shape, and digital mockup. 

Because most of the 3D designs can be made in them only. Let's explore these main workspaces.

So in every workspace, you will find many tools that will make your design the best version.

And then similarly Assembly, sketcher, etc. are many other parts in Mechanical design.

Next is the shape. In it, the main is Generative shape design and sketch tracer.

This is of most use. And the third one is the Digital mockup, in that the simulation of the 3d design assembly takes place.

In it, there are some tools that are used to simulate your assembly after some steps.

So like the same, there are many others. You will learn them in the coming tutorials on CATIA V5.

Now let's explore the next is the File option. Let's see it. So there are some operations like save, save as open, new part,

etc. and many others. You will find them all in the File option.

Now explore the next one is the Edit option. So the options like undo, redo, cut, copy and paste and many others are 

present in the Edit option.

Now let's see other is the View option. In it, there are many tools these will use in the coming tutorials on CATIA V5.

All are very useful and are used in moving your design and many other operations.

Now the next one is the Insert option. In this option, the operations vary according to the workbench you chose. 

So in it, many operations are present, you will learn them, just keep patience.
